Take Health Science Courses Online

Health care is a wide-open career field, and demand has never been greater for skilled medical professionals and technicians. Taking health sciences courses online as a high school student is an excellent way to jump-start your career or explore the numerous opportunities that exist.

For example:

• Medical Terminology gives you a solid foundation to pursue any type of medical career, explaining the structure of medical terms, medical abbreviations and acronyms.

• Nursing Assistant prepares you to work with adult patients in hospital, long-term care or at-home settings, providing and assisting with medical care as well as daily living tasks.

• Pharmacy Technician covers the skills necessary in this field, giving you the foundation needed to pursue a career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

Full-time or part-time

These are elective courses for full-time students at Sterling Academy. However, if you’re a full-time student at a high school that doesn’t offer these courses, you can enroll part-time with us and then easily transfer your credits.
