Enrollment and Registration

 

Thank you for inquiring about our online school!

We are a self-paced school with open enrollment year-round.

We are not a virtual school. There are no live classes. Students will not log in and see their teacher and classmates. All courses are designed to be worked independently with one-on-one teacher support as needed.

Courses consist of reading, prerecorded lectures, short video overviews, and interactive activities. Some courses also have speaking assignments and games that relate to their chapter content. There will be tests and quizzes throughout as well as midterm and final exams.

Students can work on courses 24/7. At any point that the student needs help the student will email the teacher to let teacher know. If the student is asking a simple question, teacher will just answer it. Otherwise, the teacher will reply and ask the student schedule either a phone call or one on one in Teams for teacher support.

Students will have to schedule a live review with the teacher before the midterm and final exams are unlocked. Teachers may not have an open appointment (for exam reviews) for several days, so students should schedule their reviews several days before they want to take the midterm and final exams if they have a time to complete deadline.

Part time students can only enroll in one individual semester at a time. Students have up to 6 months to complete a semester course. 

If you don’t have additional questions, you can complete the enrollment form and email it back to us. We will email you an invoice for the first month's tuition and $100 nonrefundable registration fee that you can pay online. We will email you registration forms after you have paid the invoice. 

You will download and complete the registration forms and email them back to Julie with the IDs. She will have instructions. Your child is to watch the orientation video after you have completed and returned all the information she is asking for.

After your child watches the orientation videos the registration process will switch to him/her. Julie will email him/her links to set up his/her username and password and Microsoft Teams account. Courses will be uploaded after the registration process has been completed.

On our end your child will have up to 6 months from the day the course is uploaded to complete it, whether the course is started that day or not, (or up to 2.5 years from the day the courses are uploaded to complete each grade.)

NOTE: You do not have to print the student handbook - just read it.
