Nothing is more important than an education that prepares students for success in the global 21st century
Our focus on self-motivated and self-paced learning enables students to develop critical life skills while studying to meet challenging academic requirements. We help you achieve that through:
"Sterling Academy challenged my son more than the private Christian school he attended as well as the 5 star public school he attended in 9th and 10th grade. He is proud to be a graduate of Sterling Academy and we recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative learning program."

"We have two boys enrolled at Sterling Academy. Sterling Academy has been a great tool in the education of our children. The teachers seem to care and respond in a timely manner. The course material is excellent in keeping our children interested. I always love to hear stories from my children about what they have learned. We have had a wonderful experience at Sterling Academy."

“Customer service” matters in education. School should not be an assembly line, but an individualized process tailored to meet each student’s – and each family’s – interests and needs. At Sterling Academy, we approach education one student at a time. We take pride in our friendly manner and absolute willingness to help you make the best education choices for you.
What is it like to “go to school” online? Every Sterling Academy student sets their own schedule. You can study on your computer any time, from anywhere with an internet connection. You can work quickly through material that comes easily to you and take as much time as you need to master more difficult concepts or topics. When you have questions or need assistance, you can schedule a one-on-one session with your teacher.
You can choose from a broad array of electives to supplement core course requirements – languages, technology and digital arts, health sciences, business and other enticing options not available at a traditional high school. Offering a multitude of electives is just one way we help students expand their knowledge base and skills while investigating potential career choices. Sterling Academy students can also take some Honors or Advanced Placement courses.
You are an ideal candidate to enroll with Sterling Academy if you have scheduling or health challenges that interfere with traditional school routine, if you are a homeschooler ready for higher grade levels, an advanced learner or one who needs more time with certain subjects, a foreign student seeking an American education, an American student living abroad, or you simply don’t feel comfortable at your regular school.
You may attend Sterling Academy as a full-time student working to earn your high school diploma. You may also attend as a part-time student, to take electives or other courses your school does not offer. Because we are a regionally accredited school, you can easily transfer the credits you earn back to your high school. Whether full- or part-time, you may enroll and begin your studies at any time.
